The Sea Urchin collection is born from the artst’s deep connection to the landscape of Cadaqués, in the Alt Empordà, a unique enclave where sea, rock, and light have inspired generations of creators. This ancient fishing village, linked to the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, has long been an artistic refuge, shaped by figures such as Salvador Dalí.

In its waters, sea urchins abound-an essential part of local tradition and a source of fascination for the artist Lluis Carulla since childhood. Observing these organisms- their perfect forms, the delicacy of their structure, and the almost hypnotic movement of their spines-has led to a sculptural reinterpretation that transforms the organic into a geometric languaje.

Crafted in metal (aluminium), the pieces expand into space with rhythm and precision, evoking the tension and harmony inherent to the sea urchin. Sea Urchin is a tribute to the silent beauty of the marine world and to the memory of landscape where nature, tradition, and artistic creation converge
